Then, with the deli there was an extra charge for the platters because the menu is so messed up the workers can't even give the correct price. They were also late ringing everything up, everything was not ready at noon.
On top of this when my mother went back to the manager to remedy the situation he basically called her a liar saying she left at 12:18 not closer to 1pm. Which yes, she left closer to 1pm. They started to ring things up as they were ready and that started at 12:18. Yes we did get the cake money back but nothing from the deli for being 30+ mins late. Im severely saddened with how unprofessional the manager was. You're a manager, dealing with customers is your job. They really need to get their staff retrained as well. If you can't do something in the bakery department just say it right off the batt. And fulfill the order completely.

Were not looking for a handout either, we did pay for everything but this situation should never have happened in the first place.
I'm coming from Georgia and Kroger wasn't the top notch it is here. Awesome staff, always clean, and even the night stocking crew (who I know secretly hate to see us coming) is super helpful and kind.
Store is always well-stocked. in-store deals are a wonderful suprise. Clean and normally easy to maneuver through. But above all the employees are wonderful they're friendly they're helpful they go out of their way to let you know they appreciate your business but it's more than that they treat you like you want to be treated
The "manager" basically calling my mother a liar was the icing on top of those non existent cupcakes. Having a manager treat someone like that is beyond words. That was NOT okay.
Im hating to even have to write this review. As I normally love coming here and love the store in general. I had a baby shower on November 4th and ordered an elephant shaped cup cake, cake and 80 additional cupcakes. We ordered it a week in advance, saturday rolls around my mother goes to go pick up our orders (we also ordered from the deli, ill get to that in a bit) before noon the specific time we asked for everything to be ready. The elephant was supposed to be 48 all white cupcakes with teal frosting, what we got was a sorta elephant with 38 cup cakes half being chocolate, not all white. Then there was supposed to be the additional 20 white cupcakes with white icing and 20 chocolate cupcakes with white icing. There wasn't any additional cupcakes at all! They weren't even made! My mother had to buy a regular cake, nothing like my baby shower colors at all.
For some, this may not even be worth writing a review about but for me this is the furthest I've been able to carry a child. I trusted them to make cupcakes for such a big event. I could have spent more and go to a better bakery but I like Kings, they've never done me wrong before so why should I have to? They're more than capable to make what I ask.
Always friendly staff, shelves are always in good order, and the store is very clean. This is a big king soopers and I like that it has department store stuff too. Their sushi bar is always on point too. The only drawback is there isn't really any service there and the Wi-Fi is limited to the Starbucks area it seems but I won't deduct any points because service in this area sucks in general.
